Looking for candidates with forklift experience it's important that they know that this isn't just a forklift position. They will be required to pull, put away and ship small parts via UPS. They want to be very clear to the candidates that this isn't an 8 hour a day sit or stand or forklift position.
Read over and sign BOL's (Bill of Lading).
Inspect, re-box and re-strap pallets and returns.
picking, pulling, packing and quality control.
Use computers, with the ability to learn how to ship and read paperwork.
put away small parts
picking and shipping small parts
Auditing incoming and outgoing shipments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years in warehouse environment
HSD or GED required
Strong auditing, QC skills / attention to detail
Must have familiarity around computers
Ability to learn how to ship and read paperwork
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
