Title: Bartender
Location: Glendale, AZ
Multiple nights we are looking to fill.
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our team at Charley’s Place. As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and crafting delicious drinks for our valued customers. If you have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly demeanor, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations if requested
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Mix ingredients to create cocktails and other specialty drinks according to recipes or customer preferences
- Ensure that all drinks are prepared and served in a timely manner
- Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Clean and maintain the bar area, including restocking supplies and utensils
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and revenue
- Monitor and manage the inventory of beverages and supplies
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on new drink recipes and industry trends
Requirements:
- Proven 3 years experience as a bartender or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess a valid bartending license or certification (if applicable)
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time
