Entry Level Receiving/Logistics Clerk
Smith-Southwestern, an industry leader in gift and souvenir distribution located in East Mesa, seeks qualified candidate for a position within our receiving team.
About us: Smith-Southwestern is a family owned wholesale distributor that specializes in the souvenir and gift industry. The products and service we offer nationally is unique in the way we sell imported products, domestically sourced products and manufacture many items in our facility as well.
Position Details: Preferred shift is 9am-5pm
Logistics: Handle scheduling & logging inbound/outbound freight coordinating directly with Inventory/Receiving manager for inbound freight
Log returns that are delivered from Fedex and report to appropriate personnel
Setup item criteria for receiving & picking
Check in incoming product, pulling necessary paperwork to receive in Warehouse Management System
Use computer/scanner to route received items to locations on carousel systems and bulk storage and complete putaway
Adjust inventory as directed and investigate/verify lost/found inventory accordingly
Will work directly with Inventory Manager and 1st shift Receivers

Previous order picker and forklift experience preferred, but will train
Able to regularly move boxes typically weighing 30-40lbs
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Fedex ship manager, setting up LTL shipments and corresponding via email
