Job Overview:
We are seeking an on-site skilled IT Technician to join our team. Windows Server Certification is a plus. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. You will be required to play an active role in the day to day activities that will require you to be on your feet and able to install, upgrade, diagnose or replace cables, software, hardware, devices etc. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our computer systems and all networks and programs. A wide range of IT experience will be best suited for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users
- Provide technical support for network connectivity or related network issues
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks
- Analyze system logs and identify potential issues
- Collaborate with team members to implement solutions for IT-related problems
- Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses
- Assist with the deployment of software updates using SCCM or similar tools
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards
- Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Hard wire installing.
- Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and other networking concepts
- Experience in desktop support or help desk roles
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
