A boutique law firm with an excellent reputation and diverse clientele, is currently seeking a 2 plus year attorney to join our dynamic business litigation team. Position: Attorney - Salary Range: $110,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience + bonuses + benefits
Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs;
Participate in all aspects of civil litigation, including court appearances, depositions, negotiations, and mediations;
Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel;
Work closely with colleagues on case strategy, legal research, and analysis; and
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current on legal trends, and contributing to the firm's growth.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
1 plus years of business litigation experience, preferably with a focus on business law, employment defense.
Admitted to practice in State of California.
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
A commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
Willing to work overtime and/or on weekends if necessary.
