Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual for the position of Entry-Level POS Install Technician / Project Manager. This role involves coordinating with clients on POS install project timelines and deliverables, managing inventory, handling service calls, and providing problem-solving solutions to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to establish project timelines and deliverables through concise written and verbal communication.
- Manage service calls, including remote assistance and on-site visits as needed.
- Maintain and oversee inventory of hardware components.
- Problem-solve to address potential or existing client needs effectively.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work remotely or travel to various work sites.
- In office position but we are flexible depending on workload and type of work being done
- Capability to lift objects weighing less than 40lbs and comfortable working in enclosed or “tight” environments.
- Basic understanding of computer components and their connections, including monitors, printers, keyboards, and mouse.
- Basic knowledge of general networking components and connections, including modems and routers.
Preferred Skills (A Plus):
- Extensive familiarity with computer components such as mag swipe readers (MSRs), receipt printers, kitchen printers, credit card readers, and countertop scanners.
- Extensive familiarity with network systems and components such as switches, access points, patch panels, and firewalls.
Note: This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
