We are looking to hire a full-time, live On-Site Resident Manager for a 56 unit apartment complex in Merced, CA. Come join our dynamic community!
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents
- Manage property leasing and rental agreements, including tenant screening, lease negotiations, and move-in/move-out processes
- Maintain accurate records of resident information, rent payments, and maintenance requests
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints
- Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
- Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure compliance with applicable housing laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, rental income, expenses, and maintenance activities for management review
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of leasing procedures and legal requirements related to residential properties
- Computer skills and literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively interact with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Driver’s License

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE plus unit
