Outstanding manufacturing company seeks Finished Product Packager to work in the Production Department. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for distribution while

adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

Inspecting Products: Examine finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Packaging: Package finished products according to predetermined methods, which may involve using machinery or hand-packing techniques.

Labeling: Affix labels or stickers to packaged products with accurate information such as product name, ingredients, expiration date, and barcode.

Quality Control: Monitor packaging materials for defects and ensure proper functioning of packaging equipment to maintain product integrity.

Inventory Management: Keep track of packaging supplies and notify supervisors when inventory levels are low to avoid production delays.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to comply with safety and sanitation regulations.

Documentation: Complete packaging records, production reports, and other paperwork as required by company procedures or regulatory agencies.

Safety Procedures: Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of themselves and their colleagues.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as production supervisors, quality control inspectors, and warehouse staff, to coordinate packaging activities efficiently.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot packaging issues as they arise and propose solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

Adherence to Regulations: Comply with relevant regulations and standards governing packaging materials, labeling requirements, and product safety.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize product quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in a manufacturing or related field is preferred.

Familiarity with packaging equipment and hand tools.

Attention to detail.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement on the job.

Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 35 pounds.
