BUYER / PLANNER
Precision manufacturing company, located in Sunnyvale California, offers a full time Buyer / Planner position.
To qualify for the position, candidates must have previous experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be in good physical condition.

Shift: Days
Day-to-day responsibilities of Buyer / Planner include:
Operate forklift, pallet jack and other material handling equipment
Negotiate deals with suppliers, and research possible item selections
Support the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders, report and manage any back ordered or missing products
Receives incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
Ensure that all transactions are recorded in company database
Pull and kit assembly jobs from inventory and update inventory list
Maintain inventory accuracy and perform periodic cycle counts
Inspects shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supplier
Requirements:
Minimum High school diploma or GED
Previous purchasing and planning experience
Valid California driver’s license and good driving record
Complete tasks with a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good verbal and communication skills
Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Ability to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
Team player with excellent work ethics and attendance
Compensation:
Hourly rate is 25 - 30 based on experience
