We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Human Resources/CARF Accreditation Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Human Resources department and ensuring compliance with CARF accreditation standards. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks and will have the opportunity to interact with individuals with mental/developmental disabilities in a caring and empathetic manner. The candidate will assist in HR functions such as recruitment, employee record maintenance, onboarding, and supporting HR initiatives. The wage range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour with raises based on longevity, performance, and the facility's ability to accommodate pay increases. The HR/CARF Accreditation Assistant will be under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Director

The Siskiyou Opportunity Center is private nonprofit for the developmentally disabled. Our main mission is to provide job training and services for our disabled workforce. We accomplish it through our work at the Rest Areas, janitorial contracts, recycling, and our day programs.
You must work well with others, including our disabled. Applicants will be required to have a drug test and a background check. Upon hiring, applicants will be required to provide a DMV printout with no serious infractions. Only completed SOC applications or resumes will be accepted. Position will remain open until the right candidate is hired. Our insurance company requires you to be at least 21 years or older to drive a company vehicle, as you may be asked to drive some of our disabled clients.
