MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO VENTURA COUNTY JOB SITES. PC Tech - Primary Services in Ventura County. EXPERIENCED: MINIMUM 5 years of experience. Professional, honest, attention to detail, self managed. Excellent communication/customer and written skills. These are just as important as technical skillset. TECHNICAL SKILLSET PRIORITY: (1) A REQUIRED is skillset in PC hardware/software troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades. Virus/Malware cleanups. Full capabilities from memory install to motherboard troubleshooting/replacement. Operating systems experience including reloads/upgrades for Windows10 / Windows11. Backups understanding - experience with Windows WS Backup, Server Backup, and Backup integration beneficial. Peripheral install (printers, scanners, etc.), USB, wireless, Ethernet. (2) Networking experience including peer-to-peer configurations/setup, Broadband setup, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, etc. (3) Misc. applications understanding desired including accounting, dental, medical, and definitely Microsoft Office applications. (4) Email configuration experience - POP, IMAP required and MSExchange is a real PLUS. (5) Website applications/design skillset also a plus. (5) Server OS Administration greatly desired for this position but not required- general tasks including domain setup, active directory, security settings, etc. (6) SQL Programming experience/knowledge is helpful but not required.
Initially part-time/bench and remote work for small business accounts general maintenance and fixes. POSSIBLE growth to full time/bench work/field work/business accounts. 2 year confidentiality agreement signing required. 1099 position - potentially full-time employee. Your vehicle, mileage are your responsibility though open to discussion for partial coverage (fuel, mileage, etc.). Will be discussed in interview/hiring negotiations.
