Director I ComplianceLocation: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.The Director I Compliance is responsible for directing compliance/implementation initiatives.How You Will Make an Impact:Primary duties with advanced complexity and broad/enterprise scale may include, but are not limited to:

Compare compliance performance to that of other organizations through benchmarking.

Innovates with an eye towards process improvement and modernization consistent with industry best practices.

Directs and leads compliance programs with multiple layers, objectives, tasks, stakeholders, requirements; assess and report on program/process effectiveness; creates policies, procedures and tools needed to operate daily function of program; manage/oversee/influence resources impacting projects or programs from matrixed organizations under different leadership.

Develops and leads strategic compliance plans, including incident prevention efforts, and makes recommendations to leadership.

Performs quality oversight of departmental work products/output; plan, document and communicate department work, noting accountable direct reports and deadlines.

Collaborates with management to set strategic vision and culture for the organization.

Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance or privacy experience, including minimum of 3 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

Strong leadership/managerial skills and ability to motivate/coach other staff strongly preferred.

MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred.

Experience supporting Medicaid and Medicare compliance programs.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $118,720 to $213,696.Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; Nevada; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
