We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Laundry Mechanic to join our team in the commercial laundry industry. As a Commercial Laundry Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of laundry equipment used in commercial industrial laundries. Your expertise will ensure that these essential machines are in top working condition and able to meet the demands of our high-volume laundry operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, conducting regular inspections, and performing necessary repairs. You will need to be knowledgeable in the field of laundry machinery, including but not limited to washers, dryers, and ironing machines. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying issues and implementing the appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities
Carry out regular inspections of commercial laundry machinery to identify any potential malfunctions or signs of wear and tear.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machine parts to ensure optimum performance.
Replace faulty or worn-out components, such as belts, pumps, motors, and valves.
Follow manufacturer's guidelines and specifications for repairs and maintenance tasks.
Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Collaborate with fellow technicians to resolve complex issues and provide recommendations for improving equipment performance.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
