- Greeting and checking in clients as they arrive for appointments
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries from clients and other parties
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating with therapists and other staff members
- Maintaining electronic and paper records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Processing insurance claims and verifying benefits for clients
- Assisting with billing and collecting payments from clients
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of the office
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Previous experience in a medical or behavioral health office is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional education or training in office administration or healthcare administration is a plus.
