Parachute Pizza, a Sicilian pizza shop in Union Market, is currently seeking an experienced Cashier/Shift Supervisor. The perfect candidate will be energetic, detailed oriented, self-motivated, and reliable. They should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and should be able to multitask in a fast-past environment. The job requires the candidate to navigate between the cash register and the kitchen. Previous experience in the food industry as a prep cook or line cook is highly desirable.
Responsibilities as a cashier:
- Learn and understand the menu and being able to process the POS fast
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
-Physical Requirements (lift up to 50#)
Responsibilities as shift supervisor:
-Help to prepare food including cleaning and cutting ingredients
-Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures
-Assure recipes are followed and standards are being met
-Maintain quality of product and service throughout shift
-Restock items as needed throughout the shift
-Communicate with GM for ordering purposes
-Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Pay would start at $19 an hour (plus tips).

Friday - 3pm-8pm
Saturday - 11am-8pm
Sunday - 11am-7pm
Monday - 11am-8pm
Tuesday - 11am-8pm
