PLC TechnicianJob DescriptionOur company is looking for a skilled PLC Technician to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing damaged and/or malfunctioning robotic systems, equipment, and components. You will also assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures. Your role will include maintaining good housekeeping of tools, equipment and repair area, as well as developing proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance and operation instructions. This role also involves assuming responsibility for the completion of assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Hard Skills

5+ years experience with assembly and troubleshooting

Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings

Experience in robotics

Soft Skills

Ability to manage projects

Good housekeeping skills

Ability to develop and maintain detailed repair activities reports

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Brooksville, Florida.Work EnvironmentThe work environment for this role is an indoor warehouse. Please note, this is a non-airconditioned facility with large industrial equipment.ShiftDuring training and the acclimation phase, the schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (probably 3-8 weeks, depending on the individual). After training, we have 2 openings on Monday to Friday from 6am-2pm, 2 openings on Monday to Friday from 12pm-8pm, and 2 openings on Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday from 6am-2/4pm.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
