1. JOB SUMMARY:
Assembly Workers are responsible for integrating various components to create a finished product. Operating within an assembly line, they execute specific or predetermined tasks, ensuring the assembly process meets required quality standards with optimal efficiency.
2. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble diverse components to form complete units according to specifications.
- Adhere to supervisor instructions for assigned tasks.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols outlined by the supervisor.
- Notify the supervisor of any deviations from specifications.
- Transfer output from the assembly line to designated staging areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Manage excess materials as directed by the supervisor.
- Meet routing targets set by the supervisor.
- Identify and reject output not meeting specifications.
- Minimize time, material usage, and wastage.
3. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
- Reliability: Demonstrates outstanding attendance, and punctuality, and rarely misses work, understanding the impact of absence on the team and communicating any absences promptly to the supervisor.
- Consistency: Consistently achieves high-quality and accurate work.
- Safety: Adheres to department safety requirements, utilizes proper PPE, and demonstrates safe behaviors.
4. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience: Preferably 1 year in an assembly line or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as procedures, blueprints, and schematics.
5. SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Proficient in English.
- Possesses manual dexterity.

6. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Performs repetitive tasks.
- Regularly operates in a noisy environment.
- Stands for extended periods.
- Works in varying environmental conditions.
- Engages in light physical activity as needed.
- Climbs stairs.
- Lifts materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Wears Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, steel toe shoes, self-retracting cutter, long sleeve coat, hairnet, gloves, and advised comfortable jeans and polo shirt attire.
