Candidates should:Possess great mechanical aptitude and work well hands-onHave knowledge and 3 years experience with plumbing, HVAC, glycol refrigeration, electrical, draft systems, heavy equipment operationBe able to use, fluently read and understand the function of measurement devices, including, but not limited to, tape measures, laser distance meters, measuring wheels, calipers (digital and analog), pressure gauges (metric and English), temperature gauges (Fahrenheit and Celsius), multimeters, balances (scales)Be familiar with basic hand tools and their usesPossess the ability to read and comprehend basic machine manuals and diagrams.Be able to learn how to systematically troubleshoot equipmentBe able to follow through maintenance and repair assignments to completionBe able to clearly report on all tasks using emailBe ready to assist in any operations around the facility as needed, including performing custodial duties and assisting in other departmentsMust be available to work on Saturdays every weekHave good organization and communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and/or nights, weekends and holidaysLive in or be willing to relocate to South FloridaBe a self-starterLove craft beerWelding experience a plusPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
