Description Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that offers an invigorating work environment among a team of motivated professionals. While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The essential functions of this role will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Execute additional tasks as needed
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Implement full-cycle A/P
Help with internal and external audits as required
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling Requirements - Excellent attention to detail
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Journal entries experience desired
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
