Provider Strategy & Operations Director

Provider Strategy & Operations Director (JR113850)Location: This is part of our Hybrid Workforce Strategy and requires work in the office 1 - 2 days per week.NOTE : Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute to one of our Elevance Health Main offices.The Provider Operations Director is responsible for supporting business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing programs, projects and initiatives, such as provider data management, implementation of new tool suites and operational processes, or other provider initiatives as well as market and regulatory driven updates. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Provides subject matter expertise in regards to strategic initiatives, may act as a liaison to IT or other internal and external business partners, be a corporate single point of contact, and mentor regional subject matter experts.

Leads and defines standards for provider experience business applications.

Partners with management to identify high value initiatives. Identifies and facilitates changes to provider experience processes to incorporate lessons learned from pre and post implementation claims audits.

Leads the standardization of operational readiness plans for provider experience initiatives and mentors team members on best practices.

Executes and delivers strategic initiatives effectively with focus on pricing, demographics or process improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS degree in business or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of management experience in healthcare operations, network management, enterprise level project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

Consulting background, market research, market insights experience.

MBA strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $109,620 to $187,920Locations: Colorado; New York; Jersey City, NJIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
