Description We are offering a role in the water treatment industry, located in East Point, Georgia, United States. This role is a 3rd shift Plant Manager position, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity. The main focus of this role will be to oversee all phases of the water treatment process, supervise personnel, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and direct all phases of the water treatment process, including disinfection, coagulation, sedimentation, and filtration.

Supervise and instruct personnel in correct methods and procedures, establish work priorities, monitor work in progress, and ensure adherence to safety practices and departmental policies.

Monitor the operation of the water treatment plant to ensure compliance with standards and proper operation.

Ensure clear-well, tank sites, dams, and pump stations are properly maintained and that chemicals are used appropriately and in compliance with state guidelines.

Prepare, submit, and maintain accurate reports and records on plant operations.

Order necessary chemicals and supplies and maintain accurate records on chemical usage, plant pumping, and other purification activities.

Address and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the water treatment process.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and coordination of activities.

Stay updated on the latest developments in the water treatment sector and implement necessary updates or changes in the plant operations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree preferred; five (5) to six (6) years of related supervisory experience;

State of Georgia Class 1 Operator License.

State of Georgia Water Distribution Certification must meet MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
