Martin & MacArthur is seeking an experienced Retail Inventory Clerical to assist in the functions of the Buying Department. The ideal candidate must be a responsible individual with great attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Data entry of merchandise allocations into the Company’s inventory POS system
Create and disseminate inter-store transfers and warehouse transfers for all allocations
Regularly follow up with store managers on status of transfers
Create weekly Sell-Thru Reports for all retail vendors and categories
Create vendor Purchase Orders based on the items/quantities chosen by the President
Follow up with vendors on the status of outstanding orders
Follow up with Store Managers to resolve inventory discrepancies in the stores
Process all damaged merchandise reported and received back from stores
Process all cycle counts of vendor inventories by store and resolve discrepancies
Skill Set:
Accurate data entry
Proficiency with on-going data entry for inventory management
Experience working the “back office” of multi-unit retailers
Good follow-up skills
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to multitask
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and POS systems
High school diploma
