POSITION PURPOSE
The Master Mechanic Manager performs maintenance repairs on semi-trucks and trailers such as engines, electrical, and other major components. The position inspects and tests equipment to diagnose malfunctions. It requires following established safety procedures and keeps upper management well informed of repair status. Tracks and maintains repair orders and systems, maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of fleet vehicle, order parts and maintain inventory, ability to use hand tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks, experience reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals. Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment. Performing and ensuring high quality workmanship. Compensation will be based on experience.
Note: We need a leader in our shop, someone who can manage technicians, write reports, organize and lead the daily operations while also working on the vehicles. Must have own tools.
