Job Summary: The Commercial Loan Operations (CLO) Specialist I supports the Commercial Lending Department by performing operational duties, which include, but are not limited to, processing payment and advance transactions, sending and approving wires, & booking new notes, renewals, and changes in terms. The CLO Specialist I books commercial loans onto the core system and performs system maintenance as needed. Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities: · Processes all bank owned non-parted and purchased loans, booking new notes, renewals, and changes in terms · Reviews and interprets loan variables to ensure proper payment and advances requests on all commercial loans · Approves and sends wires and ACH transactions · Upholds the Swap loan process from loan booking, payment processing, billing reviews, and fee payments · Reviews maintenance crosscheck, ticklers, late fees paid, and past due reports · Navigates the core system and codes loan bookings and payment processing; understands the correlation and process of all coding entered into the core system for each type of commercial loan · Develops effective working relationships with peers in all commercial lending departments to enhance level of service and customer experience · Identifies cross-functional dependencies by shadowing other teams to understand how their work directly or indirectly impacts the Operations team · Performs other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience: · High school diploma or GED preferred · At least one year of previous loan operations experience is required · Or a combination of education and work experience Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: · Knowledge of Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loan documentation and processing· Knowledge and understanding of loan transactions· Knowledge of syndicated and participated loans· Knowledge of FIS processing system or other related system· Knowledge of commercial loan origination system, preferably SageworksHiring Salary RangeThe hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.
