We are currently hiring for all kennel positions from trainees to management, and room for advancement is always available. Immediate hire available. Hiring for two shifts: 6:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm-8:00pm. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
Kennel attendants care for pets while their owners are working or traveling. Basic attendant duties include cleaning cages and dog runs, feeding and medicating, exercising, and playing with animals. Experienced attendants also may provide basic healthcare, bathe animals, and attend to other basic health needs. Duties include walking dogs, cleaning kennel suites, cleaning floors/drains, bathing and nail trims, play group supervision, and general overall caretaking of the dogs in our facility. Job is physically demanding and does require you to be outside throughout the day. Must be able to walk a lot during your 7 hour shift.
Starting salary: $17.00 per hour for trainees and more for experienced personnel. We also offer company paid (80%) health insurance and you get to be around dogs all day!
