Seeking experienced construction inspectors with MD SHA TET IV level for overseeing contractors work on highway, bridge and Rehabilition work according to Maryland Specifications. Requires minimum of five years' experience and full certifications in concrete and asphalt work. Additionally, must have done highway lighting, storm water management facilities, maintenance of traffic (MOT) experience. The position requires full SHA certifications with preparations of IDR's (Inspectors Daily Report) on a daily basis and ability to use MCMS data entry and use of iPads.
The job locations are in District 1 counties (Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worchester) Must be able to supervise the contractors and sub-contractors. Position offers hourly salary of $28 to 35 per hour depending on experience, interview performance plus all benefits and overtime and travel expense reimbursements.
