Business Change Director

Location:Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment being 1-3 days in an office per week.Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.PRIMARY DUTIES:

May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensures activities are aligned with corporate strategy.

Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data. Leads efforts to identify best practices.

Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

Designs methods for integrating functions and processes.

Conducts cost/benefit analyses.

Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit.

Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities.

Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities.

Supports the execution of the operating plan.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

Knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.

Master’s degree preferred.

Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

PMP Certification preferred.

Proven proficiency in guiding, directing, and developing teams, inclusive of performance evaluations and fostering a team-oriented environment.

Extensive experience in devising and implementing standardized processes and procedures to enhance team productivity and efficiency is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability in fostering and maintaining positive rapport with a diverse range of business stakeholders, internal and external.

A strong record in formulating and executing strategic plans that align with enterprise goals and directives is essential.

Strong aptitude for identifying, scrutinizing, and resolving complex business challenges, and making influential decisions that affect business units.

Excellent command over verbal and written communication with an ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences in an understandable and engaging manner.

Prior exposure to and understanding of your specific industry sector would provide an edge, enabling quicker understanding and response to potential business challenges.
