We are looking for an experienced full time Medical Assistants, if you are seeking a new opportunity, we will train you to become and Ophthalmic Technician. Eye Center of the North Shore offers on the job training with an opportunity for certification if you choose a career in Ophthalmology.
Qualifications include positive, team-player attitude, ability to excel in fast-paced environment with a broad age demographic- primarily the elderly. You will obtain patient history, to include chief complaint, history of present illness, history (ocular and general), family history (ocular and general), and history of allergies and medications. Perform diagnostic testing including Visual Fields, HRT, OCT, IOL and fundus photography.
Potential hours; Monday - Thursday 8 to 5 and Fridays 8 to 2.
