Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) is a 23 bed detoxification program dedicated to helping men and women with substance use histories who have gone through multiple attempts in treatment. Clients are provided with a short-term intensive treatment program to guide them with their transition to long term care. Services include individual and group counseling, risk assessment for TB & STDs, HIV education, case management, and after-care follow up services. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the life in those who are struggling with addiction.The Recovery Specialist’s Responsibilities Are:

Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities

Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being checks

Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties

Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor

Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience working with substance use population is preferred

Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
