Accounting & Reporting Manager for Stellar Financial Enterprise

Our Enlow & Associates Talent Acquisition team is looking for an exceptional Accounting and Reporting Manager to join an established, financial organization hailing from the Midwest (Greater Minnesota Area)! The Accounting and Reporting Manager oversees the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and necessary financial disclosures in compliance with GAAP. They will manage diverse financial reporting and analysis tasks to protect the Company's financial assets in adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards. This role will collaborate with fellow leadership across the organization, gaining buy-in on suitable accounting approaches and analyzing new endeavors. The Accounting and Reporting Manager will approach day-to-day operational decisions in an insightful and strategic way, while mentoring a team to drive results across the enterprise.

What The Role Entails (Essential Duties):

-Assists in the adoption and adherence to new accounting standards, conducting research on emerging issues and transactions concerning financial reporting standards

-Produce monthly financial outcomes and manage debt covenant results

-Oversees a team of four across general accounting proficiencies

-Owns the accounting processes for credit loss allowances, derivatives, and fair value measurement

-Serves as an Accounting leader, speaking to cross-company growth ventures and system modernization endeavors

-Assesses financial risks and establishes controls for mitigation

-Identifies and implements process automation for enhanced efficiencies across the enterprise, focusing on reporting tools for accounting and finance

-Collaborates with Compliance and Legal departments to meet regulatory obligations

-Works alongside Financial Planning and Analysis teams to analyze real-time results

-Engages closely with external auditors to facilitate financial and SOC 1 audits

What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications):

-Bachelors Degree in Accounting

-Certified Public Accountant (active or inactive)

-Minimum four to five (4-5) years relevant accounting or audit experience

-Ideally minimum of three (3) years in public accounting

-Proven track-record of team leadership experience

-Advanced proficiency in crafting, executing, and evaluating financial controls

-Prior financial service industry experience highly desired

-Possess excellent reasoning and critical thinking skills

-Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite - advanced Excel and supporting reporting tools such as Access, SQL, Jet Reports, etc.

-Eagle-eye attention to detail and acute accuracy

-Practices excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels throughout the organization

-Must present on financial results at a monthly, quarterly and annual cadence

Pay and Benefits: Competitive base salary $110,000 -$140,000 (DOE), generous benefits package and so much more!
