Administer medication as per MD order and/or parental consent Attend Health Plan meetings and school conferences when applicable; assisting with the plan of care under the direction of a physician, registered nurse, school designee and/or parent Attend appropriate continuing education programs as per licensure requirements and participate in Aveanna in-servicing and training as offered Exhibit behavior supporting and promoting student’s rights and overall wellbeing Follow Aveanna and school board policies and procedures that affect the health, safety, and wellbeing of students in the school health setting Report any changes in the student’s mental, physical, or environmental condition (including any incidents) to the physician, nursing supervisor, school designee and parent as applicable Recognize and report signs of substance abuse, physical abuse or neglect Provide a clean and safe environment within the school, including the safe use of equipment.
