Description of Work:
Rewarding and educational estate garden maintenance. Be part of the team that creates and maintains over 16 acres of garden and arboretum at this beautiful non-profit venue for community enrichment. Work under the direction of an experienced horticulturalist to plant and maintain a breathtaking tour garden for the 2024 season. If you are interested in horticulture this is the job for you.
General landscaping functions to include:
- Planting; trees, shrubs and flowers
- Maintenance; watering, weeding, mowing, line trimming, blowing, dead heading, pruning and general cleanup
- Landscape renovation; paths, retaining walls, lawns and beds
- Organic pest control and sustainable weed management practices
Excellent working conditions and amenities. Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 40lbs. repetitively.
Rate of Pay: $20 per hour.
Sick Leave
Paid Holidays: Memorial day, Independence day and Labor day. 3 day weekends
Take out Lunch: Bibler Gardens provides lunch on the last Friday of each month.
40 hour week M-F, payday every other Friday, 8am - 4:30 regular hours, 7am to 3:30 June - August
