OVER-VIEW

Responsible for maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting of irrigation systems. Troubleshoot systems to identify and correct deficiencies. Program control systems to maximize water efficiency. Detailed reporting of daily activities. Interface with clients and co-workers when needed. Good communication skills and 1-3 years of experience is appreciated.

Must have valid Driver's License and be able to be insured by our agent.

Pay Rate: $20 to $22 DOE

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the installation of new drip and sprinkler systems

Set and maintain times on controllers; troubleshoot all aspects of irrigation system to include electrical and mechanical.

Map systems for master plans

Complete repairs as necessary, may instruct others in irrigation repairs

Operate trenchers and rock saws to install/repair lines

Operate the vehicle safely over an assigned route/to the destination

Follow all company safety, security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries: complete safety training and certifications

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards

Ensure uniform, company vehicle and personal appearance are clean and professional

Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS(all required to be done for up to 10 hours or more a day):

While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using a shovel. In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures, intense noise, or lifting or carrying heavy objects. The employee must be physically coherent and aware at all times especially when dealing with heavy machinery, equipment or while driving.
