Classification Summary:
Under moderate supervision, in addition to the responsibilities of Mechanical Technician - Associate provides routine support and tests and diagnoses. Prepares materials, components, and assemblies for evaluation. Interprets engineering change orders, blueprints, diagrams, sketches, photographs, or other process and product documentation as they relate to assigned duties. Participates in the development of process control manuals/documentation. Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Fabrication of mechanical components utilizing CNC machines, manual machines, welding and metal working equipment. Assist engineers with project documentation development and drafting/CAD for TM Products and contracts.
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a DoD clearance and maintain clearance throughout employment
This position is subject to random drug testing in compliance with its drug-free workforce requirements.
This position has been established as a primary key position under the “All Hazard Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)” and is essential to operational continuity and/or recovery. In an emergency situation, primary key positions are required to report to work unless directed by supervisor or public safety authorities not to report for health and safety reasons.
