Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager at Santa Fe Brewing Co. is responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse department. Primary responsibilities are related to shipment scheduling and management, schedule execution, operational efficiency, storage efficiency, and personnel management.

This position is best suited for a highly organized person with strong logistics aptitude and a passion for safety, quality, and efficiency. This position reports to the Operations Manager, but will also work closely with the Production, and Quality departments. This is a Full-Time, benefits eligible, salaried position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse operation, including

Scheduling and shipping of finished goods

Receiving raw materials

Powerlift equipment training and fleet maintenance

Coordinating and maintaining inventory levels for remote locations

Management of Warehouse Department personnel, including

Daily and Weekly Labor schedules

Training and on-boarding

Annual reviews

Coverage for call-outs, vacations, etc. when necessary

Coordination with Production, including

Monitoring packaging output to assure order completion

Staying aware of any production deviations and adjusting shipments accordingly

Coordination with Maintenance, including

Mechanical troubleshooting and light repairs

Assisting with major work, as necessary

Coordinating ongoing PMs

Coordination with Quality, including

Quality checks on all received raw materials

Proper FIFO and last checks on finished goods

Proper logging of Quality data

Maintain inventory of supplies and materials, including

Monthly counts of materials including finished goods, packing supplies, and raw materials

Ordering of consumables (wrap, gas, etc), sanitation, and safety supplies

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

3+ years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting required.Brewing, beverage, or food logistics experience preferred.

1+ years experience in a management or leadership role required.

Strong leadership and communication skills required. Experience in a training role desired.

Strong organizational, problem solving, and multitasking skills required. Certifications desired.

MS Office and general computing skills required. Experience with MRP and ERP programs such as SAP and OrchestratedBeer desired.

Ability to work and communicate effectively with other departments to meet production needs.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

Able to work with powerlift equipment

Able to lift materials up to 55 lbs.

Able to drive a non-CDL delivery truck

Able to work in tight, or cramped spaces, and in an environment with high noise levels.

Able to work around hazardous chemicals.

Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, eye protection, ear protection, etc.)

Limited exposure to hot fluids, live steam, pressurized vessels and transfer lines, particulate atmospheres, carbon dioxide, variable temperature levels, and wet floors and clothing.
