Aero Vine is a student led small and unconventional private equity firm, unlike our counterparts Aero Vine
will make a singular whole acquisition to operate the company post acquisition.
Interns will be working with a student run team and be exposed to live M&A deals, broker, accountant, business owners, lawyer, and attorney interactions, and observe the due diligence in acquiring a company, negotiations, deal making, and discussions.
Interns will aid in managing the high volume deal funnel in the most efficient way possible. Interns are not expected to understand sophisticated analysis or modeling or partake in activities that do not aid in their learning or waste their time. Interns are not employees and are not guaranteed full time positions post acquisition.
Duties:
- Finding and archiving business owner contact information, for various private companies
- Aid in deal sourcing that matches investment criteria
- Suggesting ideas that could aid in emailing and negotiating with business owners
Requirements:
- A motivated, creative, and ambitious individual who wants to learn
- Adaptable individual who can work independently as a critical thinker
- Interested in business particularly entrepreneurship and it’s challenges
- Common sense and ability to put things together without instruction
- Comfortable with start up like chaos
- Ability to work two full days (Saturday and Sunday) , a maximum of 16 hours a week
Compensation:
This internship is unpaid. If you are looking for experience this is for you, if you are looking for formality and prestige in the work environment this is not for you. This experience will be reminiscent of working with a start up team, if this is what you are looking for this is for you. We are working sometimes asynchronously and often out of a library. Letters of recommendation and introductions to any connections will be provided as well as all available resources at our disposal. Introductions to firms, brokers,banks, private equity firms , and attorneys can also be provided with the highest recommendation of your performance. I can also help with interview prep, recruiting aid, resume revision, and university tutoring and preparation should it be requested.
