We are a growing IT managed services provider in NY searching for a Field Network Technician to deliver exceptional customer service and support to our corporate clients throughout NYC area.
This Field Technician position is a client facing role which requires on-site support and travel to client sites.
Flexible schedule, this position is 70% in the field and 30% working from home.
Troubleshoot and provide support at multiple corporate offices and field locations located in Manhattan.
Experience with configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and supporting network equipment, wireless access points, firewall policies and Vlans.
Troubleshoot and configure File Servers, Desktops, Laptops, and core computer network components.
Windows OS, O365, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Sonicwall, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NAT, VLans, VPN, VoIP, Cat6, Patch Panel.
Ability to learn new and unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources.
Works well in a fast pace environment with tight timelines for deliverables.
Strong communications skills (verbally and written), the ability to interact well with all types of people/personalities, and a strong work ethic are crucial.
