A Snapshot of Your DayThe GIS Service Supervisor reports into the Grid Technology Service Substation Upgrades business. The successful applicant will be involved with GIS Service projects that will include assembly, test and commissioning, maintenance, service, refurbishment and upgrades for the install base across North America!How You’ll Make an Impact

Responsibility for leading and coordinating Gas Insulated Switchgear Service projects at the work site.

Undertake troubleshooting and fault analysis of the GIS and associated equipment.

Leading and teaching contractors to perform GIS service work.

Interfacing with the customer and other partners to successfully complete the scope of work.

Working as part of a team to complete work in the field and ensure all related issues are handled effectively!

Assist in the development of proposals related to GIS service scope, including planning, costing & workforce requirements.

Ensuring that all activity is performed in a timely, effective, safe and cost-efficient manner.

Provide support and customer service to customers and project partners.

What You Bring

Technical knowledge and understanding of the Siemens Energy GIS portfolio present and vintage models.

Prior experience in GIS installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair is preferred but training will be provided.

5+ years of experience, Siemens Energy HV GIS Certificate is preferred but not required.

Experience of working on construction sites.

Have good knowledge of computer & Microsoft office skills.

Self-confidence, hardworking, teamwork, ordinated, dedicated.

Travel is required; up to 90% domestic and or as project requires.
