Career Opportunity – New Business Policy Issue Specialist with Unity Financial Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati, OH

As a Policy Issue Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing applications and contracts, verifying the business submitted is in good order, and issuing the policies/contracts in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, you will:
Process and prepare the new business vouchers.
Review and issue insurance/annuity applications.
Provide assistance over the phone as needed to field personnel.
Process and monitor 1035 Exchanges.
Provide daily reports to Senior Management regarding outstanding policies, issued policies and agent training issues.
Process returned applications (not issued).
Correct errors on issued policies, and re-issue as appropriate.
Qualified candidates will have:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
An ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
1-3 years life insurance experience and/or LOMA matriculation is desirable.
Annuity and/or SPIA (Single Premium Immediate Annuity) experience, preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Self-starter, comfortable working in fast paced environment.
