Permanent Floors Carpet One is a 75 year old family business.
We are looking for a full time or part time professional to estimate carpet and hard surface projects for our retail renovation clients. Carpet estimates would include include wall to wall, area rug, and step runners. Hard surface estimates include floor and wall tile, hard wood, laminate, luxury vinyl, and sheet vinyl installations. This position also includes working in our showroom with retail clients.
This job involves:
-going into customer’s homes.
-creating room sketches.
-estimating retail costs.
-working with showroom designers.
-ordering/coordinating materials for installation.
-consulting installers during installations.
The ideal candidate:
-should have at least 5 years experience in flooring/renovation estimating.
-must be professional in appearance and good communication and customer service skills.
-must have there own vehicle.
-experience with estimating software.
-experience installing flooring and/or carpet.
This is a salary and commission position. We also offer mileage reimbursement, 401k retirement, cell phone allowance, paid vacation/sick time, healthcare, and a team oriented work environment of people who really care about providing a great product and service to their clients.
