CNC Machinist2nd and 3rd Shift$19-30/hrDirect HireHuron, OHDescription: Setup and Operate CNC mills and lathes according to predetermined work instructions; utilizing appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials (metals, alloys)Must be able to apply appropriate offsets and adjustments to ensure finished part meets GD&T requirementsSetup and operate CNC machines; lathe or mill; to produce precision partsAlter programs, adjust speeds and feeds, utilize cutter compensation, and apply work offsets, to optimize production while maintaining qualityInterpret technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a partInspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficientlyEffectively and safely operate multiple machines simultaneouslyAbility to install and uninstall tools, parts, and fixtures from machinesVisual acuity to read directions and prints, and to inspect parts closely to ensure they meet specificationsAbility to meet tight tolerances while maintaining acceptable outputSafely and effectively use tooling, fixtures and equipmentTop Skills Details:Must haves:
Must have 2-5 years of experience setting up CNC machines
Must be able to read blue prints
Must be able to use quality tools
Must have G&M Code knowledge
Must be able to complete CNC assessment given by humanetics (not pass or fail)
