We are seeking a highly competent Dental Hygienist with excellent interpersonal communication skills to work at our new dental office with state-of-the-art equipment and furnishing.
Location: West Salem Clinic; 1233 Edgewater Street, Salem OR 97034
Job Status: Full-time, 40 hrs./wk., Monday – Friday
Sign-Bonus: $5,000
YOUR ROLE:
As a Dental Hygienist you will provide direct patient care from a Trauma Informed Care perspective which includes cleaning of teeth, root surface, and care of gums.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Provides information and education to patient and family members regarding hygienic practices.
Confers with dentist on patient care strategies.
Maintains dental records on all patients in accordance with organizational policy.
Maintains operatories clean; disinfects operatories prior to each patient.
Ensures that vacuum lines, unit, chair, light, instruments, and tray setups are thoroughly disinfected and properly sterilized and in accordance with established protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered dental hygienist licensed to practice in the State of Oregon
Ability to work with patients of diverse backgrounds and cultures
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Previous experience preferred
