Reference #: 1457373a-3da7-4e62-8445-7e5b4ed9eae4DescriptionGAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior EIT to work with the Power Generation Business Sector on primarily renewable energy projects and when needed other regional projects. GAI Consultants, Inc. offers its employees, upon approval by supervisors, the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment that will utilize their college education and past work experience to develop professionally into a well-rounded engineer with the ability to grow in today's environment. The candidate will be based out of GAI's Richmond, VA, Warrenton, VA or Pittsburgh, PA offices and will perform both design and monitoring tasks under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer.Tasks include:

Site Grading Plans

Erosion and Sediment Control Plans

Stormwater Management Plans

Hydrologic and Hydraulic / Drainage Plans

Utility Design and Relocation Plans

Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans

Geotechnical Investigations

Permit Applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, high occupancy permits, etc.)

Access Road Section Development

Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control Plans

Construction Cost Estimates

Owner's Engineer Support During Construction

Field Investigations

Daily/Weekly Construction Inspections

Earthwork Construction Quality Control

Compaction Testing

Concrete Testing

ESC Inspections

SWPPP Inspections

Environmental Monitoring

The candidate should have the desire and ability to travel to Project sites, as needed, primarily in the mid-west and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

Education

Bachelors of Environmental Engineering (required)

Bachelors of Civil Engineering (required)Experience

Preferred experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (required)
