Loubier Design is a design build company that specializes in high-end custom millwork and furniture for both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated carpenter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Full-time installation for all projects including custom cabinetry, doors, countertops, paneling, and other various types of architectural millwork. On occasion shop work will be required - including building and assembly of cabinets and furniture and other miscellaneous items.
A suitable candidate possesses the following:
Ability to work from and read shop drawings.
Able to follow precise instructions.
Good time management skills. Works efficiently to complete projects in a timely manner.
Good problem-solving skills as site conditions will vary and installation techniques will differ.
Attention to detail
Maintains an organized jobsite and practices proper safety and cleanliness.
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clientele and maintains an excellent service through completion.
Must be able to stand on feet for a minimum 8 hours per day
Must have a driver’s license and willing to travel to project sites in city of Philadelphia and its neighboring counties
Excellent math skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Experience: minimum 3 years of carpentry/installation experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm with occasional overtime available
Expected hours: 40 per week
