Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
Familiarity with networking protocols and systems administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant coursework or certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, etc.) is a plus.

Assist in monitoring security systems for anomalies and potential threats
Participate in security incident response activities; including analysis and mitigation
Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in implementing remediation measures
Assist in security awareness training initiatives for employees
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
Research and stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends
Support the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies

Must be currently enrolled at time of internship in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Ability to work 24 hours per week
The base pay range of $15/hour represents the the hiring pay for applicants that meet the minimum qualifications. Actual pay can vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The hiring pay listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
