We are looking for an I&C Systems Engineer in our Cranberry Township, PA location to support the design of new build projects.What your day-to-day Looks Like:Decompose and implement technical and process requirements from contracts, codes and standards, or other project inputs into I&C specific requirements

Responsible for coordinating technical discussions between groups and disciplines.

Produceinterface specifications between different scopes of equipment.

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships by positively addressing customer concerns and issues.

Evaluate analysis inputs and results to develop specific technical solutions for customers.

What We'd Like to See from You:BS in Electrical Engineering

Strong technical interest, including a desire and willingness to learn.

Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles.

Understanding of configuration management and requirements management processes on various projects for I&C

Understanding of verification and validation efforts on various projects for I&C

Previous knowledge of overall design and operation of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and systems is preferred but not required.

A basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis is preferred, but not required.

Experience with various I&C systems preferred.

Familiarity with the concept of providing cost estimates for project scopes preferred.

Familiarity with Industry Codes and Standards preferred.

Essential Functions Include, but may not be limited to the following: Review and approve/reject fusion joint reports for fusion technicians Oversee extruder locations for coordination of testing, reports, and troubleshooting of issues Oversee 3rd party lab pipe extrusion tests Maintain pipe quality and fusion databases Accept/reject pipe lot runs based on extruder and lab results Prepare tensile test specimens with CNC machine Perform pipe tensile testing with Universal Testing Machine (UTM) and produce testing reports using UTM software Interpret tensile test results to identify plastic deformation and ultimate strength Provide technical support for work in process, new product evaluations, test and inspection activities as required Review quality and field data to identify common themes in support of driving continuous improvement Requirements BS in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical. Materials Science) Ability to review, understand, and apply applicable standards and specifications Efficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc Strong mathematical and analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Passed the EIT exam with the goal of sitting for the PE exam after applications requirements are met Must be willing top travel to subcontract labs, extruder locations, and jobsites (approx. 25% of job could include travel) This role may require the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
