Work with clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries to design custom software solutions, plan and implement IT solutions and integrate off-the-shelf software solutions into business processes associated with the design, development, testing, trial of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products (scientific informatics).
Duties: analyze business requirements to ensure that business needs are accurately defined and fully captured and identify user requirement specifications; plan, design, document, develop, and implement custom software solutions and system integrations; develop strategic plans and project roadmaps; perform software quality assurance procedures; complete systems validations; oversee data governance, quality, integrity, and validation; facilitate User Acceptance Testing ("UAT"); utilize metrics and Key Performance Indicators ("KP!") to track and achieve software development objectives; improve quality and ensure compliance with established standards and policies; review solution integration strategy and execution to identify process optimization opportunities.Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Medical Electronics and Engineering, Scientific Informatics or related field and 12 months experience in the Job offered or as a Business Analyst, Analyst Programmer or related professional technology consultant. Experience must include: a) collaborating with users, carrying out detailed research, understanding business requirements, carrying out gap analysis in existing systems & associated processes and procedures, identifying technology limitations and deficiencies, analyzing system needs, evaluating user requirements, proposing future solutions, & producing requirement documentation and system plans; b) constructing and interpreting technical specifications and designs; c) developing and delivering Business Requirement documents (BRD), Functional Specification design documents (FSD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD); c) working with Project Managers & planning project and timelines with SDLC methodology; d) developing Process Flow Diagram/Activity Diagrams, Test Cases, Use Cases and participating in Functionality testing & Regression testing; and e) providing functional support for Life Science projects, resolving and rectifying pre- and post-development issues, queries and defects.Employee may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.Multiple positions available.
