NABC Recycled Rides® Coordinator

NABC Recycled Rides® Coordinator. A rewarding position that helps coordinate the gifting of reliable transportation to those in need. The National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities between insurance partners that donate vehicles to be refurbished, collision repair partners that repair and refurbish the vehicles, Charities that nominate candidates, and the title management company that processes the title transfer and recipient paperwork. The end result is veterans, single mothers and others in need receive a refurbished vehicle to help them continue on their path to independence. The job requires a process oriented person with great attention to detail, great organization skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the program, making sure all vehicle donated and recipients selected meet the criteria of the NABC Recycled Rides® program.

Facilitating all communication between all NABC partners, ensuring the process is followed and the vehicles move through the system in a timely manner.

Serve as point person, coordinating and communicating with NABC PR contact, NABC gifting coordinator, and NABC Recycled Rides® Program Director.

Help ensure brand compliance by all partners, and NABC brand standards are followed.

Job description includes the following, but is not limited to the following and may evolve as needed with the growth of the program.

Communicating with insurance carriers soliciting vehicle donations for shops requesting to participate in the program. Maintaining timely communication. Participating in conference calls to update the status of vehicles in process, recipient selection, to final gifting event.

Assign event numbers as vehicles are donated and communicate the new event number to Advanced Remarketing Services (ARS), Insurance partner donating the vehicle, repair partner refurbishing the vehicle, and gifting coordinator.

Serve as liaison to coordinate all communication between insurance partners, collision partners and ARS

Communicating with collision repair shops and vocational schools. Mostly email communication.

1. Provide assistance with parts and services as requested

2. Follow up to ensure shop is prepared to execute successful event—event planning, presentation kit, photo/video shot list, run of show template.

3. Take the lead in scheduling reoccurring meetings with ARS, insurance partner, collision repair partner, and charity to plan for a gifting date and ensure all steps are met to achieve a drive-away event.

4. Gather logos and information needed for creation of partner posters and keys for all gifting events and forward to graphic designer

5. Following up post event for photos and video, event feedback.

E. Review all recipient nominations, assist in matching qualified recipients with the appropriate vehicle based on family size, location and needs.

F Maintain PR calendar, communicating upcoming gifting events and information to NABC PR contact, administrative assistant, and gifting coordinator
