DUTIES: Write and manage documents. Coordinate review and comment incorporation. Maintain Project Server and document configuration. Develop and review supporting spreadsheets. Track progress and monitor status vs. schedule. Coordinate meetings. Involvement with risk analysis, sensitivity analysis, external review coordination, management review coordination, NNSA review coordination, technology readiness assessments, and TMP development. Participate on program/project teams affecting execution of strategic program priorities. Support initiatives focused on strategic programmatic or tactical execution issue resolution. Maintain awareness of and contribute to schedules, performance monitoring status, and management reports. Provide timely feedback and recommended solutions to management to improve or mitigate problems affecting execution and coordination between multiple sites. Provide written and verbal analysis and recommendations to management. Identify effective solutions, including implementing requirements. ​​​​​​ EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 8 years supporting projects/programs Familiarity with administrative and technical procedures, practices, and processes affecting programmatic and facility activities Ability to perform financial/cost analysis, organizational analysis, performance data gathering, project administration, assessment support. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience with multiple integrated projects and programs. Effective use of computer software including word processing, email, spreadsheets, power point, and databases. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance. US Citizen Desired Qualifications 1 to 5 years in a management role. Experience in Life Cycle Cost Estimate development. Experience in Plutonium processing. Baseline development, control, reporting, and change control process support. ​​​​​LOCATION Savannah River Site Aiken, SC Position will be primarily performed at SRS and various off-site locations as needed. The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation. The work schedule will be a nominal 40-hour work week but can be part-time or with interruption between on-site requirements dependent on the support requirements necessary for the project.
