Remote Federal Civil Attorneys for Land Use & Municipal Law Cases Needed
We are seeking remote-based Federal Civil Attorneys with experience in Land Use & Municipal Law cases for contract-based positions. This opportunity allows for 100% remote work with no required appearances.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research and prepare high-quality briefs for federal court cases in Texas involving civil issues related to Land Use and Municipal Law.
Present well-reasoned arguments in briefs.
Assist remotely and on a part-time basis with all aspects of federal cases, without the need for appearances.
Review state Land Use and Municipal Law for use in civil litigation cases for filing in Federal District Court only.
Draft pleadings, proposed orders, trial motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence.
Provide ongoing remote support.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of federal rules of civil procedure and a deep understanding of the federal litigation process.
Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to accuracy.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience practicing federal law, with a focus on civil cases. Experienced paralegals with strong research skills will also be considered.
Federal appellate experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Familiarity with jurisdictional issues in Federal District Courts and constitutional matters, particularly related to the 14th Amendment.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
